Stocco & Stocco, in the range of a targeted promotion of their product, intended to strenghten the company's reputation and to further enhance the knowledge and diffusion of stockfish, promoted an initiative which the audience of Cittanova and Reggio Calabria's province appreciated very much: the organization and realization of the National Feast of The Stockfish, which is held in the second week of August in the municipality of Cittanova (RC), and features the presence of well-known and prestigious guests.


The second edition, held on the 12 and 13 of August 2002 with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Cittanova and the factive collaboration of the Touristic Association of Cittanova (RC), among the tasting of exquisite recipes of stockfish, cooked by the chefs of the Cittanova restaurants "Baconchi", "La Mora" and "La Petrara", was characterized by two live acts that entertained the innumerable people that attended and crowded the square of the municipality: the first concert was Mino Reitano's, who is a famous singer born in the province of Reggio Calabria, who is very popular in these lands; the other concert was Gigi D'Alessio's, the neapolitan new leader of the neomelodics, who is tributed an extraordinary success in Italy.

At the end of the feast, understandable satisfaction was shown by Francesco D'Agostino, Stocco & Stocco's chief and producer of this national feast that will be held also in the summer of 2003.
